Da Blood Brothers is a group of professional poker players who are also artists. The group was founded by Shah Cypha and Thoro Byrdy in 2007, with the intention of combining their two passions: poker and music.
Da Blood Brothers is not just another poker band that tries to play songs about poker; the band members have been playing live poker for years, so they know what they are talking about when it comes to the game. In fact, some of them even play professionally under aliases like “Slim Jim” (Thorobredy) or “The Beast” (Shahcypha).
The band’s first album was released in 2010 on PokerTube Records (now defunct), followed by several singles and EPs since then. When asked about their plans for future releases, Thorobredy says: “We plan to release more singles until we have enough material for an album.”
